Our Church

Built in 1863, the church is a bright open design built of local stone, brick and timber beams.

It is situated on Nutley Lane in the centre of the parish and is also used by the local Guides and for occasional, and popular concerts.

The church provides a welcoming, intimate but relaxed atmosphere for worship and we seek to encourage people of all ages to be part of the family.

Our Church Hall

Alongside the church is our newly refurbished church hall which is available for hire.

The church hall comprises a main hall with a high ceiling and separate side rooms, kitchen and toilets including disabled facilities.

The hall is used for Sunday school, and by the community for various activities, including an established table-tennis team who have reached UK ranking, a home tutor, the local Brownies, plus children’s parties, weddings, polling, and one off events.

The hall can be hired for parties for children below the age of 11, for meetings, and for regular sports and activity groups.

There are two main rooms for hire; the larger main hall, and the smaller, carpeted, “front room”.
